FORUM
The main town's square from Roman times built from the 1st century BC to the 3rd century AD.
 
  ST. DONAT'S CHURCH
The most famous early medieval monument of Zadar dating from the 9th century
THE CATHEDRAL OF ST. ANASTASIA
In its oldest parts its an early Christian basilica; and today's form of a romanic church dates from the 12th century.
 
  ST. SIMONS CHURCH
An aerly Christian church with the silver coffin of St. Simon from 1380.
ST. FRANE'S MONASTERY
The oldest Dalmatian structure in gothic style consecrated 1280.
 
  CITY WALLS
From the Roman period, the Middle Ages and mostly from the 16th century. Next to walls there is a medieval Captains Tower, Town Gate from 1543, Town Gate from 1573, and two big public cisterns from 1570, one with three and the other with five well wreaths.
ST. KRŠEVAN'S CHURCH
Well proportioned basilica built in romanic style, consecreated in 1175.
 
  ST. MARY'S CHURCH
A simple early romanic church consecrated in 1091.
THE ARCHEOLOGICAL MUSEUM
Founded in 1830. The exhibited remains date from the 7th to the 12th century.
 
  THE PEOPLE'S SQUARE
To the west side is St. Lorence's church from the 11th century, the building of the City Guard is from 1562 and the clock tower from the 18th century.
